The meaning of demonstrations of Dharma is to reveal Budda's wisdom and his vision. Through light emission and appearing in multiple bodies by the Light (the Universal Light body), the radiant Dharma realms can thereby be shown.
The manner of demonstrations of Dharma includes emitting light to illuminate radiant Dharma realms and appearing in multiple bodies to lead humans to the upper regions, all the various Buddha-lands (the Pure Lands).
The purpose of demonstrations of Dharma is to employ light emission to illuminate the Wisdom and Ability hidden in a person's heart, with which one can enter the Pure Lands.
The various phenomena of Dharma realms seen by the hearts and eyes of those who glorify the Light are the demonstrations of Dharma. When the Dharma realms' lustrous nature and the wisdom and ability of one's own heart coincide, in the twinkle of an eye, the three periods of time and the ten directions of space, as well as all heavenly Buddha fields appear accordingly from the Heart. The sutra of Buddha says" The Pure Land is only in your heart, the world of Amitabha comes from no where but from your inner self."
Dharma realms embody time and space, Dharma realms' scope encompasses all dimensions of space and time of the universe, embracing life's past, present, and future (the three periods of time). Simply stated, Dharma realms are the combination of all dimensions of space and time of the universe --- the representation of universal time and space. Dharma realms, as seen and known in the hearts and eyes of those who glorify the Light, are exposed by light emitted from the Multi-appearing Body. The reason that the Multi-appearing Body emits light to illuminate Dharma realms is to reveal the source of the universe and the destination of human life, from the transient period of birth, aging, sickness, and death to peacefully dwelling in the eternal brightness of Dharma realms (the various Pure Lands of Buddha fields). After transforming their lives from transience into eternity, how does human lives peacefully in the radiant Pure Land so what do heavenly worlds depend on for existence? What kind of significance does human's crystallized bone have after bidding farewell to the transient human life!? Is the Multi-appearing Body's emitting light to become crystallized bone and revealing heavenly Buddha-lands illusory or realistic?
The Multi-appearing Body emits light to unfold the concept of universal life. From minute details of person's daily life to the magnificence of the universe's contents, the teachings of the Multi-appearing Body prevail in the life of modern people. Emerging from the camera to become photos, appearing amidst disasters of human life to replace calamities with blessings, the Multi-appearing Body silently observes human's living, aging, sickness, and death and performs the adjustments without any condition. Those light emitting receivers obtain appropriate balance, harmony, and peace. At the end of human life, the Multi-appearing Body immediately emits light to transform the cremated body into crystallized bone, Leading the wisdom and ability of the Original Heart to transform into a human form (the Appearance of Present Body), and march toward the eternal bright Dharma realms. Resuscitating the Original Heart of modern people, the Multi-appearing Body transforms human's wisdom to become incarnate, animate, and materialized (i.e. the nature of the Universal Light Body is materialized into, for example, crystallized bones etc.). Those who personally experience the miracles of the Light truly recognize that theory has become reality, modernized myth! Those who glorify the Light joyfully exclaim from their hearts, "This has never happened before!" The Multi-appearing body emits light to brighten the treasure of the Dharma realms, which far transcends the philosophy and science of human life.
With appreciative hearts and without notice, many of those who glorify the Light came to the association on Sundays to attend the assembly in praise of the Light. With hearts full of spontaneous joy, and eyes filled with indescribable tears, they appreciatively laud the miracle of life. The glow and joy of the inner heart seems to transcend worldliness and enter into holiness. The five senses of the physical body penetrate endless layers of radiant Dharma realms, one realizes that, the three periods of time, the ten directions of space, and all Buddha-lands in Buddha sutras are no longer distant and unreachable. Heaven is really close. Paradise is truly not distant. Following immediate realization, the boundless future Pure Lands present completely the brightness and joy. The distance between life and death is actually only one line in width. The boundary between near and far, large and small, old and new, inside and outside, or beginning and end have been impossible to draw. Everything, following the revolving movement of one's own heart joining Dharma realms, is induced within a thought. Eternity merges into one thought, and this one thought encompasses eternity. Heart and Dharma realms harmoniously unite with each other, returning to equality (the meaning of the one word wheel) the steadiness of the absolute.
The understanding, the heart, and the brightness and joy within the hearts of those who glorify the Light express the inner contents of true life, which make people suddenly realize the direction and destination of life, human life is no longer aimless, no longer illusive and full of endless hardships, and man need not to bemoan the uncertainty of life any more. The Original Heart then obtains resurrection and rebirth. With joy and brightness in mind, facing birth, aging, sickness, and death, people suddenly achieve enlightenment at one thought and therefore release themselves from the restraints of life, transcending worrisome hardships to join in the eternal radiant Dharma realms. Human life is insignificant in that it is transient, Dharma realms are immense in that they are as vast as space, space is permanent, existing eternally. Eternity is immense in the distinction between insignificance and immensity, within the boundary of transience and eternity, inside the variance of life and death, there lies the true perception of universal human life, flowing out vividly through the mouths of those who glorify the Light.
Those who glorify the Light ask for demonstrations of Dharma. The lustrous Dharma realms radiated from light emission and the Multi-appearing Body are actually the demonstrations of Dharma. Revealing with spoken language may increase the doubts of those who glorify the light!? Language cannot explain the contents of Dharma realms, so one can only observe quietly, and purify one's heart by personal proof. Following the Light (the Universal Light Body), one's own heart can then, by means of the exaltation from the Light, revolve all around the Dharma realms, and the wisdom and ability of one's own heart can accordingly be evoked. If the wisdom and ability of one's own heart manifests itself into an image, the purpose of the demonstrations of Dharma will be therefore attained. Those who glorify the Light are then enlightened through the way of demonstrations of Dharma by the Multi-appearing Body.
Dharma realms can not be understood in language. Dharma realms are born from within one's own heart- Returning to the heart, each one can develop the wisdom and ability hidden in one's own heart, with which he can activate his Original Heart leaving the physical body and entering the radiant Dharma realms, living peacefully in the heavenly pure lands of utmost blisst!
